Mark O’Neill reporst on Google Tutor on this interesting view of Global Warming

As Al Gore would probably confirm, there seems to be a lot of people in denial about global warming. So I was interested to read about a Google Earth animation which shows the rate of the Arctic ice melting.
The National Snow and Ice Data Center made the Google Earth animation to show the extent of the ice melting each year since 1979. Just download the file and when you double-click on it, Google Earth will open and pressing the play button will then start it. If you have it installed of course! Get it for free on our download page.
Visually gripping stuff – and it really hits home about how the problem seems to be getting worse. It’s apps like Google Earth that can really educate people about things such as environmental issues.
Look out for Al Gore using Google Earth in his next conference!
